Freeride skiing - the unknown of Zinal and Grimentz

There are not many places left in the Alps that offer great skiing and few people but the Anniviers valley is just one of those places.

Zinal, Grimentz and lower down the valley Chandolin and St Luc make up the 90% of what I think is some of the best freeride skiing in all of the Alps. Period.

I absolutely adore guiding in this area and really try and go there at least a couple of times a year. The skiing in magic, there is no one around and the terrain is pretty much endless. You can ski for a week and not see more than a few groups out in the backcountry.

Plenty of lift served goodness with a dedicated freeride area, steeps, plenty of day tours - what more could one need?

Check it out it’s well worth the visit. More info here >>https://www.nosiesta.com/freeride-zinal
